The Fashion Technology Academy launched in Haringey in 2015 following the success of the Stitching Academy. Supported and funded by Haringey Council, DWP and ASOS the Haringey campus is the FTA showcase centre and only training academy in the UK operating alongside a Fast Forward audited factory.
Situated near Manor House tube station learners can apply to study the full range of accredited qualifications from Level 1 through to Level 5.
Some courses are free for those in receipt of benefits or low income and live in a London borough.

Based in the London borough of Islington near Finsbury Park the FC Designer Workspace is a community driven project funded and support by Islington Council, LEAP and the GLA.
Opened in September 2021 the FC Designer Workspace offers Level 1 and 2 short courses in Stitching and Pattern Cutting

Leicester
Leicester
Launched in November 2021 the FCFTA Leicester opened on Stonebridge Street, relocating to King Street in the heart of the city. With funding and support from Leicester City Council, I Saw it First, Triumph Needle and Alvanon the academy offers the opportunity for learners to gain entry-level qualifications in core industry skills in stitching and patterns plus Workers Rights. Apprenticeships are also available level 2 - 5

Working in collaboration with NPTC Group of Colleges the Fashion Technology Academy in Newtown, Wales will launch in January 2022 commencing with Level 1 Stitching Academy and the Fashion & Textiles apprenticeship programme.
