On Wednesday, 18th February, Louisa Christodoulou, Stitching Tutor at Fashion-Enter Ltd / FTA, participated in a ‘Walthamstow Jobs Fair’ organised by The Office of Stella Creasy at Walthamstow library.
Held from 11:00am to 4:00pm the fair featured a variety of stands, representing a cross section of local businesses, to advise and support attendees on career decisions, courses, and routes to employment.
Commenting on the event Lousia said: “I really enjoyed taking part in the ‘Walthamstow Jobs Fair’ it was an exciting and rewarding experience, especially when it brings together ambitious candidates and inspiring organisations under one roof. It is a great way to offer the perfect opportunities to grow professionally while feeling motivated about the future.”
Louisa was able to advise attendees on the range of courses, masterclasses and apprenticeships that the Fashion Technology Academy offers at a variety of levels, as well as network with the other participating businesses.
