Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) was delighted to be asked to be a guest speaker at the Drapers Future of Fashion on 8th June 2023.
Key members of the fashion industry attended this year’s event at Bishopsgate, London, to explore opportunities to innovate and resonate with consumers in today’s changing world. They were inspired and informed on how their business can prepare for this new era.
FEL CEO Jenny Holloway joined the collaborative session titled: ‘Shaping the future of retail: exploring the transformative potential of 3D digital technology’ alongside speakers: Danny Reinfeld, General Manager, Style3D Europe and Gilles Rakotonatoandro, Senior Digital Product Development expert and consultant at Style3D Europe.
Jenny (pictured in the centre above) discussed the importance of digital transformation within fashion today and recapped on the existing programs available to date. The summary included a review of current live programs plus an overview of their vertical integration backwards into ethical printing with Kornit Digital and their kind pigment ink technology with Presto Max and the t-shirt printing machine Atlas.
Jenny explained: “This is why the Fashion Technology Academy keeps evolving and growing. How can traditional colleges be in a position to afford the latest technology and train their tutors to understand what is occurring in industry today. At FEL we are garment makers of excellence, and this means that we are continually finding new and improved ways for quality assurance and lean manufacturing. When we find industry best practices then we incorporate the new systems into our SOW and lesson plans.
