On Tuesday 29th October the Fashion Technology Academy welcomed Solent University students in for a 2-hour ‘Factory Uncovered’ tour.
The visit began with an in-depth talk on the importance of ethical practices, sustainable working and health and safety in the factory. Production Director Caroline Ash spoke in detail about the garment lifecycle and costings. The students then went on a guided tour of our factory stopping at each station along the way where Caroline explained what each machine is used for.
Caroline commented: “They were a very bright group, asking insightful questions and taking a hands-on approach to the seminar.”
