On 4th August we hosted a free sewing masterclass for Islington residents at the FC Designer Collective shop.
Aimed at beginners the two hour masterclass taught learners how to use the industrial sewing machines. Lead by technician and tutor Leyla, Leyla explained how to operate the different machines how to thread the bobbin and simple stitches.
This was the first session of a series of three masterclasses taking place throughout August

The next two masterclasses take place on 11th and 18th August from 10am – 12pm. Both sessions are currently fully booked however we will be running the series again throughout September. If you are based in Islington please contact jenni@fashion-enter.com to book a place.
If you are not based in Islington Leyla also runs a Saturday Sewing Club from 11am every Saturday at the shop. This is a drop in session at £20 plus vat per hour where you ask Leyla to teach you any sewing technique you would like. To book email jenni@fashion-enter.com
