Participants From HMPS Join Specialist Garment Construction Course

On Monday, November 18th, Fashion-Enter Ltd and the Fashion Technology Academy, welcomed seven participants from HMPS for a four-day garment construction course. This marks the fourth year of our collaboration with HMPS, which aims to equip its instructors with essential technical skills.
The attendees learned how to thread and operate flatbed sewing machines and overlockers during the course. They also created various sewing samples, including a T-shirt and tailored shorts.
Lan Leeder, Head of Education said: “It is always a pleasure to work with HMPS; they are enthusiastic and eager to learn! They are acquiring the necessary technical skills to excel in their roles.
“Next week, the same participants will participate in a two-day cutting course led by our factory manager. During this course, they will use an Eastman fabric cutter to cut a small production run and learn how to create a lay plan and markers.”
