London College of Fashion Students Gain On Site Fashion Production Experience

As a part of our ongoing programme to provide bespoke seminars and factory tours we welcomed two student groups from the London College of Fashion, part of the University of the Arts London.

Led by Fashion-Enter Ltd Director Caroline Ash, both Buying and Merchandising groups came in on 3rd March to learn and enrich their course studies.

Caroline said: “We were pleased to welcome London College of Fashion students for two fantastic visits this week. They come to see us annually, and this time, we focused on circular design for a well-known sports retailer. Our discussions covered design strategies for circular garments, supply chain sustainability, and the 6R’s. As always, the tour was a great success!”

Feedback from the students included:

“Excellent explanation for the whole production process and exciting AI creator introduction.”

“I learnt about circular product development and the production process of a garment. Very interesting, thank you for the opportunity.”

“10 out of 10, I learnt about pricing, factory layout, AI, maximising profit, overall strategy. I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“It was very informative and I learnt a lot.”

“Wonderful visit. The speaker was very engaging and informative. It was overall a wonderful and eye-opening experience.”
