Level 3 Fashion Design and Business Students Proudly Display Their Final Creations

Students from the UAL Level 3 Creative Practice: Art, Design & Communication – Fashion and Business Pathway (19+) are proudly exhibiting their final collections at Capital City College Group’s Holloway Road campus following the successful completion of their 34-week intensive course.

Delivered across three-days a week and spanning two campuses, the programme is taught in close collaboration with Fashion-Enter Ltd / Fashion Technology Academy’s, expert tutors lead on key practical and commercial elements of the course, including garment construction, pattern cutting, and the business of fashion—equipping students with industry-relevant skills and insight.

Each student developed a self-directed theme, brought to life through extensive research and an impressive range of 2D, 3D, and 4D design methods. Throughout the course, learners explored processes such as drawing, fashion illustration, surface and constructed textiles, fabric manipulation, pattern experimentation, and mixed media garment construction. These creative investigations have culminated in professional-standard final pieces now on public display.

A private preview for tutors, staff, family and friends, was held on 1st May. The exhibition is now open to the public, running Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm until 15th May 2025, at Capital City College, 444 Camden Road, London.

This adult education course offers a robust progression pathway. Graduates often move on to the UAL Level 4 Diploma in Garment Technology at Capital City College Group, pursue university-level fashion studies, or begin careers in the fashion industry through entry-level roles, internships, or apprenticeships in areas such as garment construction, pattern cutting, and fashion business.

Course Tutor Lanya Iruong and Fashion-Enter Lecturers Lan Leeder and John Herrera have supported the cohort throughout their creative journeys. “We are incredibly proud of what our students have achieved,” says Iruong. “This exhibition reflects their hard work, creativity, and readiness to take the next step in their fashion careers.”
