KPS International Group Learn From FEL’s Factory Floor with Caroline Ash

Fashion-Enter Ltd’s head office, factory and learning facility in Haringey, North London had a repeat visit from KPS International Tours this week (week commencing 27th July 2026). Hosted by FEL Director Caroline Ash, the group were given a seminar and tour to provide a general insight into how clothing is created along with the technical, business and ethical considerations involved.

Caroline said: “It is always great to welcome KPS International Tours back.

“The group was studying a range of subjects, but Business was the most popular. The students also came from a real mix of countries, so we put together a general seminar with a business focus to make sure it was relevant to everyone.

“We walked them through how our business operates, the different roles within it, and how the textile industry fits into the wider global market.

“Then came the factory tour, which as always was a big hit. For a lot of them it was the first time seeing manufacturing up close, and you could see it really brought everything we’d talked about to life.

“It was a brilliant session and lovely to host KPS again.”

Feedback from the group included:

“I found the Repair Centre very insightful as it built on content I had studied at Uni this year. Particularly Patagonia which was central to one of my modules. The tour of each area was also great.”

“Fantastic business insight into the fashion industry and the costs involved and great explanations of the materials, the 6 R’s and economies of scale.”

“I learnt a lot about how fashion can destroy the earth but with companies like these sustainability seems to be the solution.”

“I learnt a lot of things, like how clothes get shipped and transported around the world.”
