More than just a store local designers and start-ups now have the chance for their items to be stocked and sold while offering the public products that are locally made and unique. The shop also includes on-site production facilities to enable learning, events, repairs and bespoke making.
Fashion-Enter secured the shop/space at the end of last year thanks to a unique collaboration between Islington Council and the Mayor of London (Good Growth Fund). Closed for a re-fit which was then followed by months of lockdown, the team have been busy preparing the multifaceted space which includes beautiful fabrics, haberdashery, sewing machines and a cabinet of curiosities alongside finished and unique products ready to buy.
Saturday 1st August saw a soft launch of the retail concept with Yvonne, Jenni and Leyla on hand to assist on any products and services. An official launch for the store is being planned to take place during London Fashion Week in September.
