On 7th June expert Gerber tutor Ben Cooper returned for the three-day Gerber for Beginners course at the FTA
Another full class the group was made up of manual pattern cutters and designers looking to expand their knowledge and upskill their existing pattern cutting experience.
The course included:
Drafting of basic pattern pieces directly on screen
Manipulation of blocks into new styles
Performing many basic pattern cutting techniques digitally (e.g., mirroring a piece, adding seams and notches, manipulating darts, adding volume, adding pleats, and annotating patterns)
Pattern Digitizing
