Course tutor Sophie has just held another successful 3-day course (23rd – 25th September) for beginners using Style3D software.
The students were introduced to the Style3D interface and its applications. Step-by-step guidance was provided on how to create bespoke avatars, changing the measurements, colours, hair and footwear. The course also gave instruction on how use garment blocks and adapt them, as well as how to select digital fabrics and details and apply them to projects.
Aimed at anyone with an interest in the metaverse, this introductory course is ideal for those interested in digital fashion, fashion illustration, sustainable fashion design and digital design as part of the sampling process. Below are examples of the digital avatars and designs created in just a matter of days.

- Able to design in virtual 3D
- Understanding of Style3D software
- Able to create designs in virtual 3D
- Understanding of bespoke measurements
- Understanding of basic pattern cutting
