From boohoo Group gifting their apprenticeship levy to announcing our very own ‘Apprentice of the Year 2022’ we can’t get enough of National Apprenticeship Week 2022 #NAW22 here at the FTA…
On Monday 7th February boohoo Group announced their apprenticeship partnership with us. The group have gifted £85,000 of their apprenticeship levy to support young people to earn while they learn. They’re passionate about educating the next generation to protect the future of the UK manufacturing sector and the unique skill base required.
Fashion-Enter will provide training and arrange placements for the apprentices on behalf of the boohoo Group, with a focus on candidates from underrepresented communities within the Leicestershire area. Focusing on Level 3 and Level 4 fashion & textile apprenticeships applications are now open.
To apply, please email: apprenticeship@fashion-enter.com with your CV and a cover letter.
As a leading apprenticeship provider in fashion and textiles we cannot highlight enough on how fantastic apprenticeships are. Fashion in particular, has a real shortage of skilled workers and this is where hiring an apprentice can support businesses with new talent with future-ready skills.
On social media we have been featuring our apprentices (current and past) such as Lucy, she comments: “My apprenticeship taught me exactly what I needed to know to enter the industry.”
And, as we do every year, we announced our very own ‘Apprentice of the Year 2022’…massive congratulations to Carmelle who won our award, the trophy was presented by Lord Young (pictured here with Jenny Holloway, Ana Cover and Apprentice Tutor – Louis-Christian Pendegrass.)
Carmelle said: “It has been tremendous working with the team at Fashion-Enter.”
