The Fashion Technology Academy, across all campuses, regularly hold informal ‘Learner’s Voice’ sessions to encourage honest and open feedback. On 17th September 2025, a session was held at the Fashion Hub in Leicester, featuring a cross-section of students from the Stitching, Patterns, and Skills Bootcamp courses.

The core aims of Learner’s Voice sessions include:
- To ensure that the learners aims are being met
- To find out if there are areas for improvement
- To confirm progression routes and next steps after the courses
- To provide quality IAG – Information Advice and Guidance for all learners – both Exit and Next Steps
- To ensure that the cross section of learners was a representative of their cohort
Examples of the questions and answers gained from the session.
