FTA at The King’s Trust: Get Hired 2-Day Event

Fashion-Enter Ltd and its educational arm – Fashion Technology Academy, was invited to participate in a two-day event, “The King’s Trust: Get Hired,” in collaboration with Octopus Energy, held on September 24th and 25th in central London.

The event aims to bring together young people aged 18 to 30 who are eager to explore a variety of opportunities, including entry-level positions, work experience placements, internships, apprenticeships, and training programmes.

Lan Leeder, Head of Education, attended the event and delivered a presentation about the Fashion Technology Academy (FTA). She spoke to a group of young people interested in the fashion industry and ways to support them, such as learning new skills or doing an apprenticeship.

Lan also explained the various types of jobs available in the fashion industry and supported the King’s Trust’s mission to combat youth unemployment by offering advice on finding work and emphasising the importance of networking and learning new skills.
