On October 3rd and 4th the Fashion-Enter Ltd team welcomed two large groups of students from the Fashion Retail Academy for a Factory Uncovered tour and seminar.
The Fashion Retail Academy is a unique, industry-led college. Founded by industry to specifically train for industry, the Fashion Retail Academy offers a range of specialist fashion courses with unparalleled industry involvement. As part of the learning experience students regularly visit fashion businesses, such as Fashion-Enter Ltd to gain on-site learning of the entire garment production process.
Fashion-Enter’s Production Director, Caroline Ash, took each group around each stage of production from the Fashion Studio to the factory floor and the FashTech Innovation centre. At each stage she offered in-depth information and answered the students questions.
Caroline commented: “It was great to have the Fashion Retail Academy back for more Factory Uncovered seminars. We had 2 buying and merchandising second year groups. They were extremely impressed with our Kornit Digital direct-to-fabric and direct-to-garment printers and the possibility of one-piece-flow.”
