This week, commencing 7th July, Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) continued its mission to educate and inspire through hands-on learning at its ethical, fully audited factory in Haringey. FEL offers a unique opportunity to explore the full garment lifecycle—from design to repair and reprocessing—while showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as Style3D and Maeknit.
FEL Director Caroline Ash hosted three groups across the week: two educational and one professional, each experiencing first-hand the importance of transparency, sustainability, and innovation in modern garment manufacturing.
“We kicked off the week with MPW International Summer School’s Art & Design students,” said Caroline. “As expected for this time of year, their English proficiency was limited, given the high number of international students. However, our visual factory tour was a hit, supplemented by video footage that helped convey key concepts. The students and tutors alike gave us positive feedback, with the tutors noting that they learn something new every year.”
Midweek, FEL welcomed sixth-form students from Queens Park Community School. Studying a range of A-level subjects, the group was notably enthusiastic, particularly about FEL’s sustainability initiatives. “They were a lively and engaged group,” Caroline shared. “The deputy head even emailed shortly after to share the positive feedback and invite me to visit the school, which was lovely to hear.”
The week concluded with a professional group CPPD from fashion retailer Boden. With attendees spanning a variety of roles, the visit was rich in insight and practical learning. “They were impressed by the wealth of new information they gained,” Caroline said, “and felt it would significantly benefit their ongoing roles. The feedback was outstanding.”

Through these tours and CPPD sessions, Fashion-Enter Ltd continues to bridge the gap between education, industry, and ethical fashion, shaping a more sustainable and informed future for apparel manufacturing.
