FEL HQ Welcomes Students From China Along With Groups From the North and West of the UK

Fashion-Enter Ltd Director and tour lead Caroline Ash welcomed three groups of students for the Factory Uncovered tour and seminar this week, commencing 3rd February. The week kicked off with a group of Chinese high school students from Kaiwen Academy in Beijing.

Caroline said: “While their English was certainly better than my Mandarin, it wasn’t sufficient for a lengthy lecture. Instead, we focused the seminar on a tour, which turned out to be a fantastic approach that they thoroughly enjoyed.

“We then had the pleasure of welcoming a group of business students from Runshaw College for the first time, and the session was exceptional. It not only reinforced concepts they had previously learned but also introduced topics they will delve into later in the term.

“Finally, we welcomed a new group of fashion students from Sidcot School, who were just starting their course. Our focus with them was on the development process and sustainable design, laying a strong foundation for their studies.”

At the beginning of the following week, 10th February, Caroline hosted a second group of students from Kaiwen Academy. As members of the group had limited English Caroline focused on the tour and provided visual insight into the garment making process. The group were particularly impressed with the incorporation of AI and its capabilities.
