FEL & FTA Founder Crowned as Drapers Sustainable Fashion Champion

It has been a fantastic night for Fashion-Enter Ltd, parent company of the Fashion Technology Academy, at the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards 2024. The Fashion-Enter Ltd team had been shortlisted for the ‘Best Social Enterprise or Charity Initiative’ category at the annual Conference & Awards, however rounding off the awards ceremony FEL’s Founder, Jenny Holloway, was presented with a special ‘Sustainable Fashion Champion’ award, sponsored by ISKO.

The Drapers Sustainable Fashion Conference and Awards took place 13th March at the Hilton London Bankside. The event launched in 2021 with the aim to recognise the strides that are being made in reducing the industry’s environmental impact and creating fairer working conditions across the supply chain.

Judged by an independent panel of experts and underpinned by the United Nations-backed Sustainable Development Goals, this pioneering awards programme shines a spotlight on best practice within the industry, so others can learn how to change for good.

Accompanying her prestigious award is a Drapers feature by Rebecca Thomson, titled ‘Enter Drapers Sustainable Fashion Champion: Jenny Holloway – UK manufacturer extraordinaire’. Published today, 14th March, Rebecca talks to Jenny about her tenacity, vision and drive in what has been a challenging environment.

Jenny commented: “As I said on the stage I am nothing without the team we have. Particular acknowledgment to the Directors sitting on table 14 last night; many have been on the Fashion-Enter Ltd/ FashionCapital journey for over ten years!

“We have had our ups and downs in business but we have shown what pivoting really means!

“To the rest of the team in Haringey, Islington, Leicester and Powys – you are awesome! No person is an island and I accepted the award on behalf of us all.

“Thank-you to all that voted too.”
