Fashion Retail Academy Degree Students Gain Production Process Insight on the Factory Uncovered Tour

This week, 17th – 21st February, Fashion-Enter Ltd Director, Caroline Ash hosted two groups from the Fashion Retail Academy. Based in the heart of London, the Fashion Retail Academy is a unique, industry-led college offering fashion related courses from Level 2 – 4 as well as degree and MA courses.

Students from the Fashion Retail Academy are regular visitors to Fashion-Enter’s factory in north London as they get to see firsthand the supply chain in action, along with the latest manufacturing developments relevant to their studies.

Caroline said: “The two groups we had in this week were studying Buying and Merchandising. We focused on several key topics: garment costing, one-piece flow, digital pattern cutting, and the fit process. We also discussed the challenges and advantages of manufacturing in the UK. Both visits were very successful.”
