The week commencing 9th February 2026 saw Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) welcome four groups of students for its informative and popular Factory Uncovered seminars and tours. Led by Caroline Ash, the sessions are adapted in line with specific learning requirements and provide an onsite experience of an ethical working factory, alongside a repair centre plus the latest technology and training facilities.
Caroline began the week by hosting two groups of international marketing students from Regent’s University London. She commented: “We started the week hosting two groups of international marketing students from Regents University, both at the start of their course. They were a lovely bunch, and it was great to catch up with Helen Joslin, who’s been bringing her students to us for years. The seminars went really well, and we got fantastic feedback”
Students explored garment costing, economies of scale, shipment types, minimum wage rates, AI in design, and how rapid-response factories operate.

Feedback from the Regent’s students included:
“I learnt how much work goes into one piece. So educational, and a great experience.”
“I learnt about the way to cut costs in the production of clothing. Very informational and a lovely tour! Thank you.
“I found out about economies of scale, shipment types and minimum wage rates. Very informative and interesting.”
“I learnt how rapid factories such as this work and how advanced AI is when it comes to design. It was a pleasure to meet Caroline and be part of the visit.”
From the Regents University tutor:
“Thanks so much for the factory trip yesterday. The students and I absolutely loved it. You always share such great insight and deliver wonderful seminars and tours.”
The week continued with two groups from the Fashion Retail Academy studying Supply Chain, ESG, and Sustainability. These sessions explored circularity, sustainability, ethics, overproduction, repair, and resale, with the factory tour reinforcing these themes in a live production environment.
Caroline said: “We then hosted the Fashion Retail Academy with a group studying Supply Chain, ESG, and Sustainability. We explored circularity, sustainability, ethics, overproduction, repair, and resale, and continued the theme on the factory tour. We wrapped up with recent developments and advancements in textile technology. The group was really enthusiastic, asking loads of questions. A very successful seminar.
“We ended the week with another Fashion Retail Academy group studying Supply Chain, ESG, and Sustainability. We had some great discussions, diving deep into sustainability topics relevant to their projects. The tutors were amazing, and we really fed off each other’s energy.”

Feedback from the Fashion Retail Academy students included:
“I learnt so much, about costing garments, AI, sewing process, repairs, AI technology, sustainability, shipping and couture. Thanks for an amazing afternoon I enjoyed it so much and learnt a lot.”
“I gained a lot of behind the scenes knowledge on the production of garments, machinery, AI technology and sustainable materials. Thoroughly enjoyed!!!”
“I learnt how the product is made and the whole product chain and which materials are actually sustainable. Great speaker.”
“10 out of 10. I learnt a lot to do with fabrics and ethics. Amazing experience.”
