On the agenda this week (week commencing 29th January) we had a mix of university students and industry professionals visit FEL’s Haringey HQ to gain enriched insight and understanding into fashion production.
Led by FEL Director, Caroline Ash, both groups received a seminar and factory tour tailored to their specific requests in line with their employment / educational requirements.
Caroline said: “We had Cardiff Metropolitan University visit us this week for the first time which was a real success. They had lots of questions and a deep interest in all areas that we covered. They were a lovely group of students.
“Next came a repeat visit from George at Asda, we had quite a few mixed job roles which actually worked very well for the CPPD. The majority were at the very start of their careers, so it was amazing for them to see and understand how manufacturers work and the entire garment lifecycle.
“We received great feedback from both groups.”
