4 Factory Uncovered Tours in 1 Week: University of Alabama – London College of Fashion – Esher Sixth Form College – Babson College

It has been another busy week for our popular Factory Uncovered seminars and tours. Led by Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) Director, Caroline Ash, these sessions are adapted to align with educational courses, along with those in industry and business, and take place at FEL’s HQ in north London.

This week, commencing 19th May, Caroline welcomed four groups from a variety of colleges and universities, for these highly informative, on-site learning sessions.

Caroline said: “We kicked off the week with the University of Alabama, hosting a mix of design and merchandising students for the first time. The feedback was excellent, and the students gained valuable insights.

“Next, we welcomed the London College of Fashion‘s MA in Strategic Fashion Marketing, tailoring our seminar to their specific focus. The group was highly knowledgeable and intelligent, leading to an engaging and interactive discussion. They appreciated the garment lifecycle insights and were impressed by our technology – making for a thoroughly enjoyable seminar.

“Then, we hosted Esher Sixth Form College‘s business students, delivering a seminar that both previewed upcoming topics and reinforced existing knowledge. The tutors were thrilled with the experience and have already expressed interest in bringing the entire year group back next year – always a rewarding outcome.

“What a fantastic way to wrap up the week! We hosted Babson College, one of my favourite US institutions, for another visit. Their professor’s expertise and warm approach made for a seamless experience. The entrepreneurship students were enthusiastic, engaged, and thoroughly enjoyed the seminar – a perfect ending to the week!”
