Previous Gerber learner Emily said: “I used to work as a tailor in E.Tautz and Ozwald Boateng in Savile Row and I am working as a freelance Pattern Cutter for Simone Rocha. I see more industries require CAD pattern cutters than manual pattern cutters, so I realized I need to learn these new techniques. I would like to be familiar with doing patterns based on Gerber system and learn everything in ethical factory production ways.”

“When I first came to the FTA I was just so nervous. I nearly didn’t make it through the doorway but everyone smiled, everyone was so welcoming. There were days when I wanted to give up and I wasn’t easy but they wouldn’t let! The FTA gave me confidence and hope for a better future!”
