On the 27th August a group of Bromley Adult Education College took the Factory Uncovered tour at Fashion-Enter’s factory in Haringey, North London. Led by CEO Jenny Holloway the group were given a short talk and a tour of the factory and FEL’s FTA learning facilities.
An account of the visit, by Philip Bedford, was featured on the Bromley Adult Education College blog published on 18th September 2026.

From the blog…
Our Clothesmaking learners recently had the exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes at Fashion-Enter Ltd in Haringey, gaining a first-hand insight into the fashion and garment manufacturing industry. We’re very grateful to Jenny Holloway, Fashion Enter LTD’s CEO, for givign up her time to show our learners around the company.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity to see how the skills developed in the classroom are used in a professional industry setting. Learners were given a tour of the factory floor and Fashion-Enter’s industry-based Academy, where they could see garment production and training in action.
The visit offered a valuable glimpse into the different stages of professional garment manufacturing, as well as the skills, knowledge and attention to detail required to work in the fashion industry.
It was particularly useful for our learners to experience a working industry environment and see the connection between their Clothesmaking studies and potential progression opportunities within the sector.
We would like to thank the team at Fashion-Enter Ltd for welcoming our learners and taking the time to share their knowledge and expertise with us.
Visits like this are an important part of our Clothesmaking programme, helping learners to broaden their understanding of the industry, build confidence and discover where their skills could take them next.
A big thank you to everyone who took part – we hope you enjoyed the experience!
