HMPS Trainers Attend 2-Day Industrial Cutting Course

On Wednesday 17th June, five attendees from HMPS participated in a two-day industrial cutting course led by Fashion-Enter Ltd’s cutters – Tanya and Boyco, based at the Haringey factory and FTA learning unit. Both Tanya and Boyco have extensive experience with industrial cutting, having worked in various factories for many years.

The training covered important topics, including:

– Understanding different fabric types

– Using Eastman cutters and rotary cutters for production

– Cutting techniques

– Health and safety practices when cutting

– Understanding markers and creating lay plans

The participants also took part in a factory tour and watched cutting demonstrations carried out by the cutters.

FEL’s Head of Education, Lan Leeder commented:
