Francesco Vuoto has been teaching tailoring at Fashion-Enter Ltd / Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) since 2020, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge, technical expertise and passion for craftsmanship to every class. With more than 12 years of experience in the fashion and tailoring industry, Francesco has honed his skills both in Italy and London, dedicating over eight years specifically to bespoke tailoring.
Alongside teaching, Francesco has built an impressive career working with some of the most prestigious names on Savile Row. As a skilled coat maker, he has worked for renowned tailoring houses including Edward Sexton and currently Richard Anderson, where he continues to refine his craft to the highest standards of British bespoke tailoring.
At the Fashion Technology Academy, Francesco’s classes have become highly regarded for their supportive learning environment, small group teaching and hands-on approach. Students benefit from individual attention and guidance tailored to their skill level, allowing beginners and more advanced learners alike to build confidence and progress at their own pace.
The tailoring courses at the FTA are designed not only to teach technical skills but also to inspire creativity, precision and appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. Learners are encouraged to develop professional techniques through practical garment construction, with many students successfully progressing to create tailored garments finished to Savile Row standards.
Francesco’s approachable teaching style, patience and extensive industry experience have earned consistent praise from students, many of whom look forward to attending classes each week.

Mau, a tailoring student, praised Francesco for his extensive knowledge and impressive tailoring skills. Through weekly classes, Mau has gained valuable insights into traditional tailoring methods and construction techniques. Mau commented: “Francesco is very knowledgeable and skilled in tailoring. I learned a lot from his weekly classes.”

Sonia, who enrolled on the trouser-making course, also spoke positively about her learning experience. She values Francesco’s ability to make technical tailoring feel accessible, enjoyable and engaging. Sonia said: “I enjoy attending his classes. I can now make tailored trousers, all hand-stitched to Savile Row standards.”
Ivan Johnson, Trouser Making Tailoring student, added: “I am an aspiring tailor with a passion for clothes and formal wear. Francesco reinforced my love and appreciation for the craftsmanship and learning of bespoke men’s fashion. The course is insightful and perfect to learn as no steps are missed when learning how to construct from start to finish, and it is inspiring to be able to work alongside and even witness how Francesco takes on creating his own personal projects. This course is worth it.”
The success of the tailoring courses at the FTA lies in their unique combination of expert tuition, industry-led learning and personalised support. With smaller class sizes, students receive focused guidance throughout the garment-making process, helping them build both technical ability and confidence in their own creative skills.
Whether learners are exploring tailoring for the first time or looking to advance existing skills, the Fashion Technology Academy provides a welcoming and professional environment where traditional craftsmanship continues to thrive.
