On 1st April 2026, Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) successfully completed a moderation with the Skills and Education Group (SEG) on the Levels 1 and 2 in Fashion and Textiles.
Feedback from External Moderator Jan Wise said:
‘The centre has high expectations as they are training through the teaching for candidates to gain employment either with Fashion-Enter or elsewhere. Many learners hope to (and do) start their own small garment-making businesses. Learner workbooks, designed by staff, are detailed and very clear. Each assessment criterion is given as a task and then signed off on when completed. Assessor feedback is detailed and positive throughout each workbook, as well as being encouraging and complementary. The work was clearly linked to the specification, with detailed and positive feedback to the learner. The work seen enables learners to expand their portfolios for themselves and to explore business opportunities. The samples were scaled down and of high quality for Level 2. As the centre has high expectations and standards, all the work seen for moderation was above the required levels. All the work moderated was made to a high standard, which included samples and finished products. It was a pleasure to see such a variety of work to moderate – many thanks to the team, especially Lan Leeder, for organising the moderation visit.’
