Sanna at FTA Leicester Achieves Level 3 Teaching Award

A huge congratulations to Sanna Bux on successfully achieving her Level 3 teaching qualification – a truly fantastic accomplishment!

Sanna first joined the FTA Fashion Hub in Leicester as a student on the Fashion & Textiles course. Although she holds a degree in Psychology, she faced challenges entering employment due to anxiety. Determined to overcome this, she enrolled on FTA courses to build her confidence and skills.

In 2024, she successfully completed both Level 1 and Level 2 in Stitching and Pattern Cutting. Throughout her learning journey, Sanna showed exceptional commitment, determination, and a strong willingness to grow. During the same year, she also volunteered her time to support the FTA’s teachers during periods of staff shortage, assisting with tutor paperwork and contributing wherever needed. Her dedication and positive attitude stood out, and as a result, the FTA team were delighted to offer her a part-time role in administration and tutoring.

The FTA Leicester and wider team are incredibly proud of her achievements and look forward to seeing her continued success!

Sanna commented: “It feels great to finally be a qualified tutor. I have been able to support FTA students and help them with stitching and pattern cutting courses. In doing this course, I have been able to apply my own knowledge that I have learned from the tutors from when I was doing the courses and have found my own way of teaching within that. I am incredibly proud of this achievement.”
