On Thursday 2nd April, Lan Leeder, Head of Education at Fashion-Enter Ltd / Fashion Technology Academy, hosted a sewing workshop at the Andover Estate Community Centre in Finsbury Park. The aim of the event was to inform the young people about the UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice and encourage them to sign up for our upcoming open days and taster sessions at the FC Designer Workspace.
During the workshop, Lan led a hands-on activity in which the young people decorated a tote bag. She also shared information about the various courses offered at FTA, as well as training opportunities and job prospects in the fashion industry.
Lan Leeder said: “It was a lovely event. FEL is engaging with the local community to raise awareness of our courses and services. Thank you to Islington Council for organising the session.”
