Students from around the world gathered at Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) in Haringey for engaging sessions of learning, discussion and behind-the-scenes insight into FEL’s ethical fashion factory.
Led by Caroline Ash the week began, 30th March, with a group from C.C.C. Kei Yuen College, whose students impressed with their strong English and thoughtful approach. The session focused on careers in fashion, alongside key topics such as sustainability and ethics. A guided factory tour followed, with the Tech Centre proving a highlight, before wrapping up with a discussion on the wide range of opportunities available across the textile sector.
Later in the day, students from the University of California, attending as part of their Social Impact Entrepreneurship course, joined for their seminar and tour. The group were particularly struck by FEL’s innovative business model and ethical approach. Conversations explored sustainability, industry compliance, and the growing role of new technology and AI in shaping the future of fashion.
Both visits sparked insightful discussions and highlighted the importance of education, innovation, and ethical practices in driving the fashion industry forward.
