Mint Velvet and London College of Fashion Learn From The Factory Floor

This week, commencing 16th February, kicked off with a factory visit from the Mint Velvet team – a first time visit with us. Led by Caroline Ash the team took part in a seminar and factory tour that had relevance with their job roles.

Caroline commented: “The seminar and tour went really well, and the group were particularly fascinated by our AI/3D creation and fitting system. The group consisted of a mix of buying and garment technologists, and we packed a lot into the 4-hour session.”

It was then the turn of the London College of Fashion (LCF) who bring in students on an annual basis. 

Caroline added: “It was a pleasure to host the annual LCF visit this week! We ran two sessions with the Fashion Design Management group, and their energy and motivation were fantastic. We covered a huge amount of ground in a short time, and the feedback was wonderful—they really seemed to value the deep dive into the industry.”
