Fashion-Enter Ltd Director Caroline Ash was kept busy this week with visiting groups from Norwich High School, Fashion Retail Academy, Westminster University and UCA Epsom. Here she talks about each group and their on-site learning experience…
We kicked off the week (3rd November 2025) with a visit from Norwich High School’s A-level students, who are currently studying business and fashion. It was their first time with us, and we packed in a wealth of information before taking them on a factory tour which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Their tutor kindly shared this wonderful feedback following the visit: “I just wanted to thank you so much for a really brilliant visit to Fashion-Enter yesterday. It was informative and engaging. The students really enjoyed the overall experience and finding out about your work and the challenges you face in the industry. For me there were lots of excellent examples that we can take forward in our A-level lessons.”

Following this inspiring start, we were delighted to welcome Sian from the Fashion Retail Academy (FRA), who brought her Garment Technology students for their regular visit. The seminar was a great success, carefully tailored to the group’s needs and the tour was extended thanks to the students’ thought-provoking questions and clear enthusiasm for the subject.

Midweek, we were thrilled to host a brand-new group from Westminster University for their innovative course in Fashion Manufacturing. We designed a bespoke seminar to introduce the students to the complete manufacturing process. The small group gained a wealth of practical and technical knowledge, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them back in a couple of weeks to conclude the course.

Finally, rounding off a busy and rewarding week, we hosted University for the Creative Arts (UCA) Epsom and their Year 3 BA Fashion Design students. The session focused on designing for circularity, sustainability, ethics, supply chain transparency, and the garment lifecycle. The students were fascinated by our working factory environment and particularly impressed by our Maeknit knitting technology and AI Style3D design systems. In just three hours, we covered a vast amount of content, and it was a real pleasure to share our expertise with such an engaged and passionate group.

It’s been a fantastic week of learning, collaboration, and inspiration and we’re proud to continue supporting the next generation of fashion talent as they explore the realities and innovations shaping today’s industry.
