Ralph & Russo Apprentice Atelier Assistant

High end designer brand Ralph & Russo are looking for an Apprentice Atelier Assistant to ensure all equipment and garments leaving the Atelier are adequately packaged to avoid damage and to ensure the Atelier is functioning in a clean and organised environment.

Main responsibilities:

- Pack garments and toiles for client fittings and liaise with team to deliver these to necessary locations.
- Pack garments for final delivery to clients following the Ralph & Russo house style; Preparing wardrobes; preparing garment bags; securely closing & labelling wardrobes.
- Ensuring each delivery is signed for by a courier and keeping track of proof of shipping for our records.
- Liaising with Creative Media Assistant to ensure garments are checked and photographed before packing.
- Working with Client Relations Operations Manager to organise visas, expenses and taxis.
- Prepare luggage and materials for fitting trips ensuring all tools are in functioning order (fabrics, trims, machines, lights, etc. and packing toiles/dresses appropriately.
- Unpacking luggage on its return, checking off and reporting any damages, informing Atelier Operations Manager of replacements required.
- Conduct regular stock checks of packaging (hangers, tissue, ribbon, stickers and wardrobes), liaise with Client Relations Operations Manager of stock levels and request replenishment of branded stock when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of archive room, ensuring all client garments are stored appropriately, labelled correctly and rails are organised. Updating all completed client order on shared Dropbox files.
- Liaise with Atelier Operations Manager and Cleaners to ensure the Atelier is clean, including workspaces, storage rooms, Fabric & Trims storage areas etc.
- Assist Team Leaders in managing dinner and taxis for teams.
- Work alongside Fabric & Trims Coordinator, Assistant to Head of Atelier and Atelier Operations Manager to pack all equipment and garments for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Show. Creating a checklist of all equipment required and delegating the unpacking of equipment once returned to London.
- Assist Pattern Studio Coordinator and Couture Studio Coordinator with ad-hoc duties and assist when on annual leave.


Have previous experience working in a support function and have excellent knowledge of the internal workings of the Atelier.
