Job title: Product Development and Garment Technologist Apprentice
Level 4 Apprenticeship – Product Technologist
Reports to: Head of Product
Directorate: Vintage
Purpose: Assist the Product Team to develop and deliver product into the design specification at the right cost, the right quality, right fit and on time.
Accountabilities Summary:
- Responsible for the day to day administration for the product ranges, including updating the PLM system and range plan and ensuring consistency at all times
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the sample room, including ensuring samples are organised and easy to find and clearing out and sending old samples to warehouse when necessary
- Working alongside the Garment Technologists to coordinate fit sessions and measure garments ahead of each meeting as well as take notes during fits when need be
- Ensure all technical and product development functions are carried out in line with the critical path
- Build and maintain tech packs (Bill of Materials and Garment Specs), ensuring consistency and accuracy at all times
