Last weekend (14th & 15th July) the Fashion Technology Academy held intensive two-day courses in Advanced Stitching and Beginners Pattern Cutting: Constructing A Bodice Block. The aim was to provide learners with a deepened knowledge and understanding in either stitching or patterns in a relaxed and informative environment.
Pattern cutting tutor Julia was on hand to teach the fundamentals in Bodice Blocks while Leyla guided the Advanced Stitching course. Feedback from all of the weekend learners was extremely positive and they felt that their knowledge and understanding in the design and production process had grown in such a short space of time.
