Tours and Seminars: From Style3D to Sustainability

This week, commencing 17th June, we welcomed university tutors and fashion business degree students to Fashion-Enter’s HQ in Haringey for tailored seminars and tours.

Led by FEL Director, Caroline Ash, the first group were tutors from Manchester University. This was a slightly different type of seminar to usual as they already have Style3D and wanted more in-depth information. Once the technical session was over with the Style3D training provider Caroline took the group for the factory uncovered seminar and tour, tying-in how Style3D supports an efficient and leaner supply chain.

Caroline said: “It was a very enjoyable to understand from a collective tutors point of view how they see the fashion industry. It all went extremely well and we got great feedback.”

This was followed by a group from the Fashion Retail Academy who were studying Fashion Business at degree level. They were doing a module in production development so Caroline adapted the seminar to this topic along with sustainability, ethics and production methods.

She added: “The FRA group were a lovely bunch with lots of questions. A great way to end the week.”
