This week, commencing 5th December, the Fashion-Enter Ltd Factory in Haringey, north London has received visits from students from Nottingham Trent University, the Fashion Retail Academy and South Bank University.
Fashion-Enter Ltd Director, Caroline Ash, has been leading the insightful, on-site sessions that are adapted to the students course modules to enhance their learning experience. Each session commences with a seminar in the Glass Room before an in-depth factory tour where Caroline stops and explains the process at each stage of production.
Caroline said: “At the beginning of the week we had students from Nottingham Trent University in for the factory tour and seminar. The students were split into two groups to ensure they could comfortably see and hear at each stage of the tour. We had 3-hours for each group so I was able to cover a huge amount and this was very well received.
“On Thursday 8th we had London South Bank University students in for two tours. They were a joy to teach and asked loads of relevant questions. We discussed their end of year projects, and I was really impressed by how innovative and well thought out they were. I definitely see some of these students as rising stars of the future!
“By the end of the week we had our final set of groups in from the Fashion Retail Academy, studying Design and Business. We have had some great sessions. Happy Christmas to all the Schools, Academies, Colleges and Universities that have come in over this past month, it has been wonderful to work with all the students, see you in the New Year.”
