Manchester Metropolitan University Students Take the Factory Tour

On Thursday 30th June 2022 the Fashion-Enter team welcomed a group of students from Manchester Metropolitan University for a seminar and factory tour. Led by Production Director Caroline Ash the group of Biomedical Science students were interested in gaining an inside view of how the fashion industry works, the various jobs and skills involved, along with how the company works as a whole.

Caroline tailored the talk and tour to the students requirements and commented that the group was ‘very switched-on with lots of pertinent questions.’ She guided the group through every stage of the garment production process and discussed the various job roles throughout the factory.

The Widening Participation Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University said: “Great overview of the fashion industry and vast range of roles.
