Taking place Wednesday 8th June from 10am – 12pm this event is to celebrate the great achievement of the individuals and businesses and for the key partners SEG, GLAA and FCFTA to present the certificates to the learners.
As part of the Community Renewal Fund, FCFTA Leicester have been working with local manufacturing businesses and communities to deliver accredited Workers’ Rights & Labour Exploitation qualifications.
Guests will include: Elysia McCaffrey, Chief Executive Officer GLAA; Frank Hanson, Head of Prevention and Partnerships GLAA ; Paul Eeles CEO SEG and Kaye Jackson Head of Relationship Management SEG.
Jenny Holloway CEO Fashion-Enter Ltd said: “When we first did the trial with SEG and GLAA of the Level 1 award we had no idea that we would be teaching this qualification in Leicester. Sometimes you just use your intuition and know that a qualification is solid and much needed.
“It’s absolutely brilliant that we have been able to teach this award to factory workers and those that are currently unemployed so they know their rights. Credit to the team at FCFTA Leicester, headed by Jackie, they have risen to the challenge and excelled.”
