On the 10th August the Fashion-Enter team welcomed a group of international business students organised by Kensington Park School. The students were visiting the UK as a part of a 2-week residential summer programme and were taking part in a wide range of interactive workshops and seminars.
This group were from the Business and Entrepreneurship pathway and had never set foot in a working factory before. Hosting the group Development Director Caroline Ash said: “We had foreign business students in today for the Factory Uncovered tour. They were a lively and enthusiastic bunch and the interaction was great. Although none had any fashion experience, they found the whole process fascinating, and their tutor said they would be basing a lesson around what they learnt here when they returned, which is very gratifying.”
Feedback from the students included:
“I learnt a lot about the fashion business and its processes. I enjoyed the visit very much.”
“It was interesting to learn how to build a brand, how to control it. I enjoyed this day.”
“I learnt how clothes are designed and produced. It would be good to have a store to purchase the clothes after the tour.”
“I have learned all the basics of running a company.”
“I found out how a fashion business is run.”
