The group were then introduced to their tutor Lan Leeder and members of the FEL / FTA team followed by a tour of the factory and its various divisions including: Style3D Styleverse Innovation Centre, Fashion Studio and the repair and reprocessing area.

Jenny and Lan informed the group about the apprenticeship programme, requirements and expectations and off-the-job training plan. After lunch the day continued with policy and procedure, health and safety and accompanying paperwork.

Lan commented: “On Wednesday, July 3rd, six apprentices from Next had their first day at Fashion-Enter’s head office in Haringey. They received a comprehensive tour of the factory, which included an overview of our facilities and services, met and greeted the team, and spoke to the staff to understand their roles.

“After the tour, we went through the programme and explored Style3D. Chris demonstrated the safe operation of the cutting machines, and Claire gave us an overview of production. It was a productive day with various activities and information. They left feeling excited, and we look forward to working with them for the next 22 months.”
