Introduction to Industrial Sewing and Garment Making
It’s amazing what our students can do in just 1-week! Last week Fatimah made four complete garments and learnt skills including attaching ribs and cuffs, insetting sleeves and doing necklines. These are essential skills in creating your own clothes. She also was able to learn and use various industrial sewing machines.

Congratulations Hemalata
Hemalata completed the Level 1 Award in Industrial Sewing in July and has now secured full-time employment in the garment industry.
Fashion-Enter Ltd / FTA Deputy CEO Jackie said: “It’s great to see our students gain a qualification and then secure employment. Since February 67 learners have now completed the Level 1 Award in Fashion and Textiles (Industrial Sewing) and now 10 have secured full time employment.”
