Employers Will Receive A £3,000 Incentive For Every Apprentice They Hire From 1st April

The cash incentive for employers taking on an apprentice will increase from 1st April to £3,000 per new hire, regardless of the apprentice’s age.

As long as the apprentice is hired between 1st April and 30th September 2021, the employer can draw down this cash incentive.

This is on top of the £1,000 payment already provided for new apprentices aged 16 to 18 and those under 25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan, meaning that some employers could receive £4,000 in total.

At the Fashion Technology Academy we support employers through the complete process of recruiting, enrolling and training an apprentice. We offer the level 2 sewing machinist apprenticeship, level 3 Fashion Studio Assistant and Level 3 pattern cutting apprenticeship, Level 4 garment technology and level 5 bespoke tailoring apprenticeship programme.

We can assist with creating a job description, promoting the role, reviewing applications and once an employer has chosen the candidate they wish to hire our admin team support with all paperwork including enrolment and drawing down the cash incentives.

If you are an employer and would like to hire an apprentice to help your business grow please contact jenni@fashion-enter.com

We have recruited and successfully trained apprentices for M&S, Mountain Warehouse, ASOS, Amazon, N16 Vintage, Erdem, Tesco F&F Clothing and many more!

‘Fashion Enter has given us excellent support and advice in setting the programme up. They invested time in understanding what M&S looks for in future talent and the type of people who thrive in our business so that they could shortlist the best candidates. This was a huge help given that that we had over 500 applications!’ Marks & Spencer
