Colorado Students Take FEL’s Factory Uncovered Seminar and Tour

This week, commencing 18th March, the Fashion-Enter Ltd team welcomed honours programme students from the established Colorado School of Mines, USA.

Colorado School of Mines is a public research university in Colorado founded in 1874. The school offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, science, and mathematics, with a focus on energy and the environment.

A returning visit from this university, seminar and tour host Caroline Ash said:

“This was an incredible group, full of questions with many of them turning into a healthy debate. They loved the entire seminar, and we got incredible feedback, they were great to teach and I really enjoyed the session.”

The students added:

“Very, very interesting and I really appreciate her (Caroline) asking for topics she could cover. Super informational and interactive. Robust powerpoint and well-rounded tour. Caroline is amazing! Kind, approachable, kept me engaged and interested.”

“I learnt so many things! I appreciated the time taken to answer our many questions and tailoring the workshop to our interests. I am certainly going to be buying more sustainable fashion and fell that I now know how.”

“Thank-you for taking the time to speak to us and doing so with so much passion! It is exciting to know that these people like Caroline and the employees that work here want to move the industry forward.”

“I found it interesting that AI could potentially reduce waste. Everyone seemed so lovely. I wish we had gotten longer to watch the machinists.”

“The AI aspect was awesome! Also loved seeing more of the production side of fashion versus the design side we have been focusing on and how creativity and artistry plays into that.”
