CEO Jenny Holloway at the Designer Business Start-Up programme in Londonderry, Northern Ireland
On Wednesday 10th January 2018, Fashion Enter partnered with; Derry City and Strabane District Council, Fashion and Design Hub and held a workshop for emerging talents in the design and textile Industry.
The workshop was part of a series of workshops delivered through the Designer Business Start-Up programme and was held in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The aim of the programme is to support ‘up and coming’ designers with workshops led by industry experts.
The workshop was led by CEO of Fashion Enter Jenny Holloway. Jenny discussed about several topics including; what makes a successful brand, the sampling and production process, sourcing the right manufacturer, PR marketing and branding and much more! Jenny states “The aim of the programme is to provide specially tailored business support packages which will equip local designers with the essential knowledge and tools that they need to develop their business infrastructure and growth strategies.”
Overall, the workshop was a success and we look forward to see one of the designer’s products showcased at Fashion Enter’s exhibition during London Fashion week. Here are a few quotes made after the workshop:
