Wednesday, 13th March 2019 Haringey 6th Form Work Experience Week as a part of Tottenham Charter
Fashion Enter visited Haringey Sixth Form College for a workshop in order to offer students an opportunity to find out about various options once they leave the college.
The event was part of Tottenham Charter pledge and consisted of running a week-long programme for students to find out about the world of work and what employers are looking for. Esme, Operations Manager at the FTA held a workshop and talked about Fashion Enter, FashionCapital and the Fashion Technology Academy and its many different operations as well as her role within the organisation. Learners were also told about work experience opportunities. Two groups of learners from Fashion Media and Art Foundation departments attended.
Margaret Phillips, Curriculum and Learning Manager - Student progression, Learner Voice and Enrichment commented: "A big thank you for attending our event last week. Your time was much appreciated."
Esme added: "I would like to thank Margaret for the invite. The learners seem clear on what career path they were willing to pursue. Their accompanying course tutor was very impressed, wishing that our amazing career progression opportunities were available during her time as a student!"
